KR National Day Ride@KTM Komuter Ride

Today is our National Day(31^st August 2019), what will a bunch of cyclist do on a holiday? Ya you are damm right, cycling~ =)

today route started from DPC to Senawang-KTM, which is a first attempt for us cycling to the planned destination and taking a commuter back to Kepong, but before reaching there, we will do a detour to Velodrome National Malaysia located in Nilai to take some photo, that's the plan =)

As per usual, we flag off before 7.30am, and all the way heading to Serdang racecourse roundabout to meet up another 2 riders.

Once meet up, here we go-Velodrome.

Even thought today is a public holiday, the traffic is still a bit heavy, but very soon we have enter to Kampung's small path and it is always safer to riders.

Gosh, today head wind are strong but luckily the weather still considerable ok, around 10.30AM, we arrived Velodrome National.

We took some photo and lepak around there, the guard allow us to entering the lobby to take some photo, but too bad they dun allow us to enter the stadium cycling track.

And we also notice there is a BMX track, few of us attempt to ride on it but been advice by other member better don't do that due to the some part of the track are cover with sand/stone, so what else can we do there? Is refill and brunch time.

We had our brunch at a nearby Malay store and the employee there are very friendly and helpful, love it, and the food/drinks there are considerable good and not pricey.

Refill and rest enough, now we heading to Senawang, which will be approximate 20km+-.

Gosh, the sun is out and windy also, but what to do, left 20km, lets fight for it.

During the ride, a member mention there is a famous chendol in Seremban town, and we are tempting to try it out, so planned a detour there dulu since we will pass by there.

Guess what? A member mention she know a short cut to the chendol place, so we just follow her direction, and what kind of short cut is that? Hilly route and rolling till all of us almost bonk =D

approximate 1.30pm, we reached the chendol place, wow... really famous, even tripadvisor also came here before.

So we have our chendol and ABC here, wow, really delicious!! thumbs up for that. and in the same time, we start checking the komuter schedule for Senawang KTM, finally we decide to take the KTM in Seremban cause we worry we can't reach Senawang KTM on time and not able to catch up the komuter.
